The Waite Arboretum precinct and streets around Birksgate Drive are worst for tree root damage because the mature plantings there are aggressive. Council's also pushing through a traffic study covering nearby Melrose Park and Pasadena, which usually means more roadworks and more opportunities for old clay pipes to cop vibration damage.
